and then there were none...

There was finally a referral, and from my count that means that there aren't any families left from Novemeber! Woo hoo...we're finally into December! Let's keep those referrals coming.

I wanted to put a little side note in. My dear friend Teri is being induced tomorrow; this is her first baby. Teri is one of my friends I met dealing with infertility and has been a wonderful friend to me throughout. Please put her in your thoughts and prayers that everything goes as smoothly as can be. I can't wait to meet that little baby girl!

I received an email today telling me that there was one family remaining in Novemember, then we're into December for referrals... not much longer now, I hope.

finally some news...

There were 4 referrals this week! Families are still waiting from November 2007, but we're getting closer.

A New Year. A New Hope

Well, I was hoping to be updating with something exciting, but nothing exciting has happened. We are still just waiting for a phone call...kinda boring but thatʼs what weʼre doing.

We had a very nice Christmas, and a fun New Yearʼs Eve that we spent with friends. Again this year Chuck made out alright at Christmas. Chuck got a rocking cow. Yes, thatʼs right, a rocking cow. I know, sounds silly but those of you who know about my strange cow obsession, itʼs not so silly. Chuck also got a Big Wheel. Unfortunately, itʼs going to be sitting for a few years until Chuck is old enough, unless Ethan and I get out riding it ourselves. Again, one of those weird things of mine, since I never had one as a kid. Itʼs more of a joke than anything, but I love it.
